KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday submitted an adjournment motion in Sindh Assembly, seeking constitution of a judicial commission to probe the allegations levelled by Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad and PSP chief Mustafa Kamal against each others.
PTI MPA Khurram Sher Zaman submitted the motion in the Assembly Secretariat, seeking the House debate on the issue.
In his adjournment motion, the PTI lawmaker said that Governor Sindh and PSP chief traded some serious allegations which should be probed through a judicial commission. He said that the allegations made it clear as to who was responsible for law and order in the port city. He questioned as to why Governor Sindh and Kamal were silent over such serious allegations.
The PTI leader said that no one can forget the May 12, 2007 mayhem and Baldia factory fire.
He also requested the Supreme Court to summon both Governor Sindh and Mustafa Kamal in Karachi law and order case.
