ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has submitted more documents as ‘evidence’ in Panama Leaks case in Supreme Court.
The documents include letters written by Mossack Fonseca to Maryum Nawaz over beneficial owners and email record, besides transcript of an interview of Nawaz Sharif with a private TV Channel.
The documents were submitted by Imran Khan’s counsel Naeem Bukhari. The documents also include British Virgin Island Director Financial Investigation’s letter to Mossack Fonseca’s money laundering reporting officer.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan will take up Panama Leaks case for hearing on January 4.
It is to be mentioned here that the hearing of the case had been adjourned till the first week of January by te Supreme Court. The decision was taken when the apex court last heard the case on December 9.
A larger bench headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa will hear the case, which also include Justice Ijaz Afzal Khan, Justice Gulzar Ahmad, Justice Azmat Saeed and Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan as members.
