Islamabad (April 09, 2018): Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf on Monday submitted an adjournment motion in the National Assembly to discuss the recently introduced tax amnesty scheme from the federal government.
The party said that the scheme was introduced for the tax evaders and money launderers and bringing such a scheme just before last 45 days of the incumbent assembly was an attack on the democratic system.
The motion was submitted by PTI parliamentarians Dr Shireen Mazari, Asad Umar and Munazza Hassan at the National Assembly secretariat.
They also submitted another adjournment motion in the assembly over atrocities from Indian forces in the Indian occupied Kashmir.
The motion said that the issue of the Indian atrocities should be discussed by halting the normal proceedings of the house and the parliament should give a joint message against the killings at the hands of Indian law enforcing authorities in the occupied Kashmir.
