KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Friday pledged to make Karachi again ‘city of lights’, saying that politics of hatred was done to stop the progress and development of the city.
The PTI chief on Friday visited PTI camp set up in Landhi area in connection with mass contact driven and met workers.
Addressing the workers and supporter, Imran Khan said that the city lacked cleanliness and waste lifting system and the roads have been in shabby condition.
He said that the people of Karachi needed to come up and join them for struggling to change the city.
He added that PTI had become a major force in Sindh. The PTI chief said that he was launching membership campaign in Karachi.
“ PTI is the party which will change the lives of people,” Khan said adding that Karachi would have been way ahead of Dubai had there been no target killing, extortion and ethnic divisions.
He vowed that the PTI would give back Karachi it lost identity.
