ISLAMABAD: Chairman, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, on Monday said that PTI would take to street if it was not dispensed with justice over Panama issue.
Talking to media after a consultative meeting of PTI, Imran appealed to the Supreme Court to hear Panamagate case on urgent basis by constituting a new bench.
Imran said that he supported Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan’s proposal to bring National Accountability Bureau (NAB) under judiciary’s control.
He said that chairman NAB should resign and go home as he miserably failed to check corruption. He also opposed the plea bargain provisions of NAB Ordinance.
Imran said that PTI wanted hearing of Panamagate case on urgent basis by Supreme Court. Khan added that Prime Minister not only lied in the Parliament but in the Supreme Court too.
Imran Khan said that Ishaq Dar had confessed of money laundering by the Sharif family. He welcomed the Interior Minister proposal to bring NAB under administrative control of the judiciary.
He said that the were waiting for Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) tomorrow public meeting as to what strategy they would unveil in the meeting.
