PTI’s backed Independents winning Candidate set to join Sunni Ittehad Council.

LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) announced that PTI’s backed Independent winning Candidate will join the Sunni Ittehad Council as a Party.

PTI’s top brass flanked by Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan (MWM) Chief Allama Raja Nasir Abbas and Sunni Ittehad Council Supremo Sahibzada Hamid Raza held a press conference in Islamabad.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf  Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan revealed in a press conference that independent candidates, elected through consensus, would formally align themselves with the Sunni Ittehad Council

Stressing the party’s support for the independent candidates,  Barrister Gohar claiming that PTI secured 180 seats in the National Assembly affirmed that all nominees had PTI endorsement on their nomination papers.

Barrister Gohar reiterated the shared vision of the coalition, stating that the decision to join the Sunni Ittehad Council aimed to foster unity and progress across the nation.

He announced plans to submit applications for special seats in the Election Commission, formalizing the affiliation of their candidates with the coalition.

PTI’s leader Barrister Gohar further said that “The conditions under which the candidates fought are also in front of everyone,” stated Barrister Gohar, alluding to the challenges faced by PTI’s candidates, including the absence of an official election symbol. Despite this setback, Barrister Gohar reiterated that PTI had issued tickets to its candidates, underlining the party’s commitment to its electoral strategy
