Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) core committee meeting was held today in the Chair of Prime Minister Imran Khan wherein existing political situation was reviewed while members were consulted on a strategy against no confidence motion of the opposition parties.
The PM presided the PTI core committee meeting while CM and Governor KP, Governor Sindh, Governor Punjab, federal ministers and other members of the committee were in attendance.
The committee was briefed on contacts with disgruntled leader of the party while Jehangir Tareen and Aleem Khan’s proposed alliance was also discussed.

Governor Sindh apprised that he is in contact with Aleem Khan. The PM directed Pervez Khattak and Imran Ismael to contact with the disgruntled leaders.
The Governor Sindh will hurriedly visit to Lahore today for call on Aleem Khan.
Sources said that senior party leaders have advised the PM to contact himself to the disgruntled leaders Aleem Khan and Jehangir Tareen..
The PM advisor on legal affairs Babar Awan gave briefing on legal matters while preparations for local bodies elections came under discussion as well.
The PM said that the people supporting no-confidence motion should fullfil their wish while our preparations are completed adding that there is no danger to the democratic government.
Lambasting on the opposition parties, the PM said that those have fear of the cases can’t bring revolution through plundered money.
The PM also decided to bring a bill of South Punjab province in National Assembly.
For consecutive third time, the PM has cancelled federal cabinet meeting tomorrow.
