ISLAMABAD: A duty magistrate of the PECA court accepted the bail plea of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf spokes person Raoof Hasan in the case under PECA act.
Advocate Ali Bukhari represented the accused while FIA Prosecutor Amir Sheikh and the investigation officer also came along the record of the case
The court ordered the release of Rauf Hasan in the case registered under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, in this regard, Duty Magistrate Abbas Shah in Islamabad announced a reserved verdict.
On the other hand, Raoof Hasan’s release would not be possible on Thursday despite getting bail in the case register under the PECA Act because Raoof Hasan is in the custody of CTD on a two-day remand by the Anti-Terrorism court.
