LAHORE: Following sorrowful incident of Sahiwal shooting, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Sunday summoned a high-level session to review progress of investigation regarding killing of four persons during the controversial action by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).
Provincial law minister Raja Basharat, Punjab chief secretary, Inspector General (IG) Police and officials of concerned law enforcement agencies will attend the meeting.
The session will also hold discussion over the security situation of the province.
Earlier on Saturday, CM Buzdar announced that responsibiliy of looking after the children was on state and the incident will be made an example. Buzdar also vowed to provide justice to the affected family.
It is noteworthy to mention here a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) was formed after the incident that would be submit its probe report within three day.
