LAHORE: The Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz congratulated the concerned for excellent security arrangements during Muharram ul Harram.
Addressing a meeting in Lahore today, she said success in every task is due to the efforts of the team and everyone from the ministers, the Cabinet Committee, Home Secretary, the IG, commissioners and others worked diligently.
Further, she acknowledged the role of Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners in organizing ‘Niaz’ and ‘Sabeels’ for the mourners. The Chief Minister stated, “The administration, police, and all other institutions performed as a team.
The ministers’ role in monitoring security on Ashura is commendable. I am proud of my team; everyone worked well.” The chief minister strongly condemned a terrorist attack on a rural health centre in DI Khan and paid tribute to the lady health visitor and children who were martyred while on duty. She expressed her sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families
