LAHORE: Maryam Nawaz, the Chief Minister of Punjab, reiterated that every resident has the fundamental right to access safe and clean drinking water. During a meeting held in Lahore today, she instructed relevant agencies to prioritize the swift completion of all ongoing water filtration plant initiatives.
She emphasized the importance of expediting the completion of the 1,886 water filtration projects spread throughout the province, ensuring that residents receive reliable access to potable water without delay.
Additionally, the meeting examined proposals for setting up 670 new bottled water production facilities aimed at providing purified drinking water to the public and supporting local entrepreneurs.
