LAHORE: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has instructed officials to undertake sewerage, drainage, and paved street development projects in more than 3,500 villages across Punjab. The directives came during a rural development meeting held in Lahore today.
Additionally, she emphasized establishing community-based organizations to facilitate the development of model villages, aiming to promote local participation and sustainability.
In a separate meeting, the Chief Minister announced the upcoming launch of the CM Electric Bike Scheme portal this week. She approved the phased expansion of the scheme to include government employees, public sector departments, the general public, and delivery service providers, aiming to promote eco-friendly transportation options across the province.
