LAHORE: Punjab government has taken a good initiative and has taken a principled decision to give “Nigheban Ramadan Package” for millions of families.
Special meeting chaired by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif was held in which reviewed various suggestions and recommendations regarding the ‘Ramadan Package’.
During the meeting, principled decision was taken by the Punjab government to give ‘Nigheban Ramadan Package’ for many families.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz directed the citizens to complete the registration for the Nigheban Ramadan Package by February 15 while also ordering necessary steps for transparency in the Nigheban Ramadan Package.
Maryam Nawaz said, Nigheban Ramadan package is the right of the poor people and the duty of the government, people should get their right with respect and dignity.
She said, public should be served for the pleasure of Allah in Ramadan, the administration and related authorities should perform their services as worship.
During the meeting, it was informed that registration in PSER is necessary for “Nigheban Ramadan Package”, can also be applied at home online portal pser.punjab.gov.pk, registration in Union Council and Municipal Offices.
Helpline 080002345 has also been set up for the Ramadan package.
