LAHORE: The Punjab government has announced a strategic move to implement artificial intelligence for price control across the province.
The initiative aims to stabilize market rates and ensure fair pricing for consumers.
In a recent meeting chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, details were revealed regarding the establishment of a forecasting bulletin, which will play a crucial role in monitoring and adjusting prices. The Chief Minister emphasized the need to fully mobilize this new institution within six months to enhance its effectiveness.
Additionally, to reduce reliance on palm oil, the government is promoting the cultivation of alternative crops, including sunflowers, soybeans, and canola. This approach not only aims to stabilize prices but also encourages agricultural diversity in the region.
