RAWALPINDI: The Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan held an open court in Rawalpindi today, to resolve public issues.
A large number of people attended the open court and informed the governor of Punjab about their problems.
The Governor listened to the problems of the people and issued instructions to the authorities concerned regarding them.
He said addressing grievances of the people is main responsibility of the administration and government is taking practical steps in this regard.
In this Regareds, Rawalpindi-Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi Region Ashfaq Ahmed Khan also held an open court, Visitors from all the four districts including Jhelum, Chakwal and Attock filed their complaints.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) heard all the complainants carefully and ordered SSP Range Investigation Bureau (RIB) for further action, RPO Rawalpindi Region Ashfaq Ahmed Khan, following orders of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan and as per open door policy of Punjab government, organized an open court in his office. The complaints belonging to four districts arrived and lodged complaints against inefficiency and negligence of police officers including holding probe into cases with police stations concerned.
