Lahore: Punjab cabinet on Monday (today) approved the budget suggestions for the financial year 2022 and 2023.
Chief Minister Punjab Hamza Shahbaz Sharif chaired the special provincial cabinet meeting.
The cabinet approved a raise of 30 percent in the salaries of government employees.
The huddle also has given nod to increase pension by 15 percent.
The Punjab government will give an additional 15 percent Disparity allowance along with 15 percent salaries hike. The disparity allowance will be given to particular government departments.
In the manner of the federal government all the ad hoc relief will be added in salaries.
