LAHORE: The use of mobile phones in classrooms of colleges across Punjab has been banned.
The Director of Colleges Punjab has issued a circular to all colleges in the province.
The circular states that the use of mobile phones violates discipline and distracts from focusing on education.
It further mentions that mobile phone use in classrooms also reduces attention to studies.
The Director of Colleges Punjab has instructed that both teachers and students refrain from using mobile phones in classrooms.
