LAHORE: The Punjab government has extended the implementation of Section 144 in the province for three more days.
According to the notification issued by the Punjab government, Section 144 will remain in effect from Tuesday, November 26, to Thursday, November 28.
The notification stated that the extension of Section 144 was made to ensure peace, security, and the protection of human lives and property.
During this period, all forms of protests, rallies, processions, and sit-ins are prohibited across the province.
It is important to note that Section 144 has been in effect in Punjab for the past three days, based on the recommendations of the Provincial Cabinet Committee for Law and Order
