The Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz decided to provide loan for solar panel to the families consuming less electricity under 100 to 300 units per month,
During her maiden speech in the Punjab Assembly, she said, “I am working on a plan to provide solar panels in installments to the consumers using up to 300 or below units of electricity.”
In a meeting on Monday, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz ordered her team to review the benefit of installing such a solar system at houses.
She added that people using electricity up to 100 units would be considered protected consumers. Moreover, the government provided solar system would contain solar plates, battery, inverter, and wires. The battery provides 16 hours of backup.
