Lahore: Punjab Government has decided to launch ‘Karobar Card’ Scheme to promote small businesses.
The decision was taken during a meeting in Lahore on Saturday, chaired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
Under the Business Card Scheme, loan from one hundred thousand up to one million rupees will be granted.
The meeting also agreed on ‘Chief Minister Aasan Karabar Financing Scheme’ for medium level businesses, under which a loan worth thirty million rupees will be provided.
The loan issued under this scheme will be returnable in five years.
The Chief Minister said through this scheme employment opportunities will be enhanced to promote business and industrial sectors in province.
The CM also called a composite plan for small and medium loan scheme while the meeting decided to provide intrest free loans for small and medium traders for promotion of buisness activities.
It is also agreed that to establish a separate zones for medium and small industries.
The suggestions will be reviewed for providing loans to selected trade sectors. After first installment of the loan grace period of three months will be given.
Under the CM Easy buisness financing schemes the loan has to be paid in the five years time.
Prefrential loans will be provided for start up at the Nawaz Sharif IT city.
Maryam Nawaz said that employment opportunities will be increased through promotion of business and industries.
