Lahore: Home ministry Punjab on Wednesday imposed section 144 across the city.
Under the imposition of section 144 all the rallies, congregations, processions have been banned while the provincial government has issued notification in this regard.
The imposition of ban is started from today and remained functional for seven days.
On the other hand heavey contingent of police deployed on Mall road while anti-riot forces exist on the path to Zaman Park while roads blocked from Mall road to Kanal area by placing containers.
