Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar has said that the elections of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were delayed before he became the Prime Minister. In a meeting with students in Lahore, he said that Article 245 of the Constitution says that a work doesn’t become unconstitutional if it delayed. It’s not the caretaker government’s mandate to give the election date, but the Election Commission’s mandate. Pakistan is currently a transitional democracy, not a stable democracy
