Most of the areas in Punjab still are in the grip of smog  on 4th day causing visibility level zero which resulted into closure of motorway from Lahore to Sayal Turning and Pindi Bhatiyan to Faisalabad.

Continuous smog have been causing delay in flights and train schedules.

As visibility level turned zero on motorway ,Lahore to Sayal turning and Pindi Bhatiyan to Faisalabad section remained close for several hours. While traffic flow faced snail pace at areas on  National Highway including Manga Mandi, Patuki, Okara, Sahiwal, Khanewal, due low visibility level.

Experts said that fog has turned into smog due to inclusion of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide, particles of methane gas into the air.

Only Rain can remove the smog while in its absence artificial rain can end the smog, experts added.
