LAHORE: Punjab is set to establish a new Chief Minister Command and Control System at an estimated cost of Rs600 million, The initiative aims to unify various security and emergency response agencies across the province.
The system will integrate all relevant departments from Punjab and other provinces, including the Emergency Response Force (ERF) and various security agencies. It will compile data from police, field forces, Safe City projects, and other key departments into a centralized platform.
Additionally, the system will feature an intelligence vision and threat assessment module to enhance security planning. To bolster operational capabilities, the project includes procurement of advanced drones and UAV systems.
Significant investments will be made to develop a resilient IT and fiber-optic infrastructure, ensuring the system’s robustness and efficiency in managing security and emergency responses across Punjab..
