Lahore: Seven Contenders of the Senate Elections from Punjab elected senators unopposed including the federal interior minister-cum-PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
They elected senators unopposed as five candidates in the run of senate elections withdrew their nominations papers.
The senators who became members of the upper house of the parliament are Hamid Khan, Raja Nasir Abbass, Talal Chaudhry, Pervez Rasheed, Ahad Cheema and Nasir Mahmood.
