KARACHI: Fakhar Zaman (82*) and Mohammad Hafeez (73*) consolidated for a match-winning partnership as Lahore Qalandars beat Quetta Gladiators by nine wickets in fourth match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6.
The left-hand-right-hand combination thrashed Gladiators’ bowling line as they were completely speechless in front of the two in-form batters.
Earlier, Chris Gayle and Sarfaraz Ahmed scored 101 runs together as Gladiators scored 178-6 in 20 overs.
In reply, Qalandars were on song with openers Sohail Akhtar and Fakhar Zaman scoring 64 runs together. Skipper Akhtar gave away his wicket to Zahid Mehmood after scoring 21 runs.
Thereon, Hafeez and Fakhar smashed the ball all around the park after getting a couple of chances.
For Gladiators, Zahid took a lone wicket.
