RAWALPINDI: In the 29th match of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, Lahore Qalandars have set a target of 150 runs for Peshawar Zalmi to win.
The match, being played in Rawalpindi, started late due to strong winds and rain, and was reduced to 13 overs per side. Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and chose to field first.
Batting first, Lahore Qalandars scored 149 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 13 overs. From Lahore Qalandars, Fakhar Zaman scored 60 runs, Mohammad Naeem made 22, Asif Ali contributed 18, and Kusal Perera added 17 runs.
For Peshawar Zalmi, Ahmed Daniyal, Ali Raza, and Daniel Sams each took two wickets.This is a “do-or-die” match between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi the winning team will qualify for the playoffs, while the losing team will be eliminated from the tournament.
Three teams Karachi Kings, Islamabad United, and Quetta Gladiators have already qualified for the playoff stage.
