ISLAMABAD: Qatar has announced an investment of three billion Qatari riyals in Pakistan.
The US-based business news site Bloomberg has apprised in its report regarding Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Muhammad Bin Abdul Rehman Althani that the Gulf country will invest three billion Qatari riyals in Pakistan.
As per the Bloomberg, the amount will be provided to Pakistan as direct investment and direct deposit while after this amount total Qatari investment will reach up to nine billion dollars.

On the other hand, Qatari news agency confirming the investment said that Qatari Deputy-Prime Minister and Foreign Minister on the directives of Emir Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Sani has announced the investment of three billion Qatari riyals in Pakistan which will be given as direct investment and direct deposit.

Prime Minister Special Assistant on Finance Dr. Hafeez Shiekh has thanked Qatar over the announcement of the investment in Pakistan while he also thanked the Qatari leadership for further willingness in the investment in Pakistan.
