Islamabad: Newly 29th Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Isa has taken oath of office today while President Dr Arif Alvi administered oath from him.
A distinguish oath taking ceremony was held at Aiwan-e-Sadar Islamabad.
Prime Minister Anwar Ul Haq Kakar, all the judges of Supreme Court, four governors, lawyers, federal ministers, Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir were attended the oath ceremony.
At a time of oath wife of Chief Justice Serena Essa was standing with him.
All the judges of Supreme Court reached the Aiwan-e-Sadar together.
Current year on June 21 President Dr Arif Alvi under article 175 3 A of the constitution approved the appointment of Justice Qazi Faiz Essa as the 29the Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan.
