QUETTA: A case has been filed against unknown persons in Counter-Terrorism Department station for an explosion that ripped through a mini market in Quetta’s Satellite Town on Monday.
The FIR was filed in presence of SHO Satellite Town under sections of murder, attempt of murder and others.
On the other hand, funeral prayers of the martyred police officials of the blast have been offered here on Tuesday.
The funeral prayers were offered in police lines and attended by Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal, provincial home minister Mir Zia Ullah Langove, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Balochistan Mohsin Hassan Butt and several other high-level civil-military officials.
However, the dead bodies have been sent to their native areas for burial.
A day earlier, at least four police personnel were martyred and eight others injured in an explosion in Satellite town area of Quetta.
The DIG Abdul Razzaq Cheema said that two policemen and seven civilians were also injured in the blast, while a police van was also damaged.
