Karachi: A player from Islamabad United’s squad has tested positive for coronavirus ahead of the clash with Quetta Gladiators on Monday.
The Pakistan Cricket Board, following the development, confirmed that the match scheduled to begin at 7pm, has been delayed by two hours — and will start at 9pm.
The players who are currently at the hotel are awaiting the results of the rapid coronavirus tests.
In response to the development, Islamabad United confirmed that one of their players had tested positive, while all of the others players were cleared to play.
