ISLAMABAD: Secretary Information, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI),Naeemul Haq, has said that the TPI’s planned march on Raiwind, Sharifs’ residence, will be held before Muharram.
In a statement issued here, Haq said that PTI will extend formal invitation to its likeminded parties to join it in its march on Raiwing estate of Sharifs Borthers to press the government to probe the Panama Leaks scandal.
He added that soon after Eid, the PTI will hold consultations with opposition parties and after that the final date of the march will be announced.
In another statement, the PTI leader condemned what he said a propaganda against the PTI chief regarding his income and tax details, which he said was aimed at achieving nefarious political designs.
He said that the details of party chief’s income and expenditures details was available for both the masses and the concerned departments.
He said that Imran met his daily expenditures through the agriculture income received from the ancestral land and savings. He said that in the last two years, some Rs 20 million were consumed from the amount in PTI chief’s bank account.
The PTI leader clarified that Imran had paid Rs4 lakhs as agriculture income tax on the income earned from agriculture land while he paid Rs76000 as tax on cash he had in his account.
He said that all details of Imran’s assets, sources of income, tax and other were available on PTI’s website, with Election Commission and concerned departments. He said that the false propaganda being run for political gains will meet a failure as has always been.
