RIYADH: Sheikh Abdullah bin Suleiman Al-Munif, an advisor to the Saudi Royal court and member of Saudi Ulema board has said that According to astronomical calculations, the first fast of Ramadan in Saudi Arabia will be on Saturday, March 1.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Suleiman further mentioned that, based on astronomical calculations, this year’s Ramadan will last for 29 days, with the last fast on March 29.

This means that Eid al-Fitr in Saudi Arabia is expected to be on March 30.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Suleiman clarified that this report is based on astronomical calculations, and the official announcement of the first day of Ramadan will be made by the Saudi Supreme Court.
