Karachi: Sindh Rangers anti-terrorism unit has entered Karachi police office along with police for conducting operation.
There is continually intense firing going on between law enforcement agencies. According to the LEA as many as 5 to 6 terrorists are in the police office.

On the other hand families living in the police line have also been evacuated from their homes.

Before the start of the operation against the terrorists another loud blast was heard in the police office.
Sharjeel Memon, provincial information minister said that Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah himself monitoring minute to minute update on the Karachi police office attack.
As per the minister, the CM Sindh has directed the police and LEA to arrest the terrorists alive.
The CM Sindh also ordered the Deputy Inspector General (DIGs) to send more contingent of police at the spot. Sharjeel Memon added.
An injured Rangers personnel has been brought to the Jinnah Hospital whose legs are bleeding.
