Karachi (October 05, 2017): Seven suspects were detained during search operations, conducted by Sindh Rangers across the metropolis on Thursday.
Sindh Rangers spokesperson said that accused were affiliated with MQM London, and Lyari gang war arrested in an intelligence based operation.
The spokesperson Sindh Rangers told media that a terrorists- Zakir Hussain- was arrested during operation in Modal Colony as the accused allegedly affiliated with MQM London. Zakir Hussain was most wanted in target killing and other heinous crimes.
A Lyari gang war member was arrested in raid in Baghdadi. The accused Muhammad Sharif is indulged in target killing, extortion, aerial firing and other heinous crimes. Another criminal, Abdul Suleman, was arrested from Modal Colony and illegal arms were recovered from his possession.
In Shah Faisal Colony raid a drug smuggler Faisal Noor was arrested and large quantity of drugs was recovered.
Rangers spokesperson said that a criminal Muhammad Rasheed was arrested in raid conducted in Preddi, a fake army ID card and other forged documents were recovered from his possession.
“All the accused have been handed over to police for further investigation,” Rangers said.
