Rangers Detain Four TTP Terrorists From DG Khan: ISPR

Rawalpindi (November 17, 2017): Pakistan Rangers Punjab alongside intelligence agencies conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) and detained four terrorists from Dera Ghazi Khan.

According to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) wing of the Pakistan Army, the terrorists are affiliated with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and were involved in attacks on law enforcers and assassinations of police officials in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab provinces.Automatic weapons, ammunition and hand grenades were also recovered from the terrorists, the statement concluded.

Earlier, terrorist involved in murdering 15 people in Tubat was killed during an intelligence-based operation. ISPR Release said.

Fifteen bullet-riddled bodies were recovered from the Buleda area of Kech district in Turbat, Balochistan earlier this week. The victims hailed from various areas of Punjab.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan conducted an operation near Alandur, Abdul Rehman village, Turbat.

“As soon the troops cordoned the area, the terrorists opened fire. During the exchange of fire, terrorist Younas Taukali was killed,” the ISPR said in its statement.The army has identified Taukali as one of the top eight commanders of the banned outfit Balochistan Liberation Front.

It said further that the incident occurred 20 kilometres west of Buleda and 25km north of the site of the bodies’ discovery.

Human smugglers were said to be behind the Turbat tragedy as all of those killed hailed from Punjab and were attempting to cross over into Iran and onwards to Europe illegally.Moreover, the army said Taukali was involved in laying IEDs for ambushing FC convoys and killing many civilians including, Rehmatullah Shohaz (founding member of Balochistan National Movement who later surrendered), Ghulam Jan (Lala Nazir’s cousin), Akram Hayathuk, Habibullah Taher and Saddam.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three suspected human smuggling agents from Sialkot and Gujranwala on the identification of families of people the victims.

Earlier, the bodies of four more victims of the Turbat carnage were sent to their ancestral areas after being identified.The four victims have been identified as 32-year-old Majid, 22-year-old Abu BAKR, 28-year-old Jee Allah, and Syed Shahid Raza.

Maja and Abu Bakr were reisdents of Sargodha, Punjab.

Jee Allah hailed from Gujrat while deceased Shahid Raza was a resident of Wah Cantt.

With the identification of the last four victims all the 15 people shot dead in Baledah area of Turbat city of Balochistan have been identified.
