KARACHI: Rejecting that the issue of Rangers powers is being prolonged Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah said that powers will be accorded to the Rangers soon and that the issue of Rangers powers is not as big as media has made it appear.
Talking to media after his retrn from Dubai Murad said that though Rangers powers were discussed with Asif Ali Zardari in Dubai the matter pertaining to ministers of his cabinet and their portfolios were not discussed.
Murad Ali Shah visited the various departments of Sindh secretariat at 9 a.m. sharp, viewed workers’ attendance, and reprimanded workers who came late.
Member Sindh Assembly Manzoor wassan, Additional IG CTD and Special Branch Sanaullah Abbasi met the chief minister. It may be mentioned here that Murad has kept the portfolio of Home Ministry with himself.
