KARACHI: Rangers on Saturday recovered huge cache of arms buried in the lawn of a political party’s offices in New Karachi and Golimar areas.
According to Rangers spokesperson, the paramilitary force recovered arms and ammunition buried in the law of the office of Unit-167 in New Karachi and another office in Golimar. The recovered arms include one LMG, two SMG, 12 7MM rifles, fours magazines and 2500 rounds of SMG.
Rangers said that the arms was to be used for creating unrest, lawlessness and target killings in the city.
On the other hand, police arrested a bank officer on the charges of providing shelter inside the bank to the accused involved in August 22 arson case.
