Karachi: A local magistrate has handed over the driver to the police on a two day physical remand who crushed to death two siblings a day earlier on Rashid Minhas road.
The driver has been produced before the court of the judicial magistrate central.
During the course of the hearing, the Investigation officer (IO) apprised the court that the no Heavy Traffic Vehicle (HLT) licence found from him while he possessed LTV licence which has expired in 2016.
We have to take information from the accused regarding the owner of the dumper, the IO insisted the court for taking his physical remand.
He further informed the court that the accused got a wound in one of his eyes owing to the torture of the enraged crowd while the case was lodged in the Yousuf plaza police station.
The court adjourned the hearing after giving his custody to the police on the two day physical remand.
