RAWALAKOT: In Rawalakot, supporters of the banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) reportedly targeted a police armored vehicle with gunfire.
Sources indicate that more than 30 rounds were discharged at the police convoy near Eidgah in Rawalakot. The vehicle bears visible bullet marks, confirming the attack.
Additionally, it has been disclosed that an audio recording attributed to the head of the banned group included explicit threats of violence.
Recently, the Azad Kashmir government officially declared the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee a prohibited organization. Furthermore, just three days prior, authorities reactivated cases that had been previously closed, citing violations of an agreement by the organization.
