Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi is facing intense crisis of water as an emergency has been imposed.
The government has imposed ban on car washing at homes and at services stations for hiatus of one month.
Owing to rising population and business activities the city has a shortage of 24 million gallons of water.
According to Director Water and Sanitation Agency WASA Rawalpindi the daily consuption of water stands at 68 million gallons of water.
Whereas only 51 million gallons of water is available, he apprised.
