The United Kingdom (UK) special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Owen Jenkins called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Raheel Sharif. During the meeting matters of mutual interests and regional peace came under discussion.
As per Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) the army chief and the UK special representative meeting was held at General Headquarter in Rawalpindi.
The UK special Representative Owen Jenkins praised Pakistan army’s successes against terrorism and applauded Pakistan army’s role in establishment of peace and stability in the region as well.
