Karachi: The re-counting of votes is continued on third consecutive day in the by-polls of NA-249 as the counting of 164 polling stations has been completed out of 276 polling stations.
Winning candidate in the by-election on April 29 belonged to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Qadir Khan Mando Khail and an indepependant candidate are participatin in the recounting process.
The runner-up candidate of PML-N, PSP, MQM-P and TLP have boycatted the counting of votes on first day.
On the first day, 346 votes of Qadir Khan Mandokhail was rejected, 536 votes of PML-N’s Miftah Ismail and 114 votes of Amjad Afridi. As many as 2345 votes have been rejected in the last two days.
