Web desk: Senior leader of Palestinian resistance group Hamas, Basim Naeem, has said that Hamas is ready for a cease-fire in Gaza, but the newly elected US president Donald Trump should pressure Israel to end its aggression.
According to the Arab media report, Basim Naeem expressed this while talking to the international news organisation on Friday.
He said that Hamas is ready to reach a ceasefire in Gaza if a ceasefire is proposed and its conditions are respected by Israel.
Further he said, we call on the US administration and President-elect Donald Trump to put pressure on the Israeli government to end its aggression in Gaza.
Basim Naeem also said on this occasion that it should be clear that since October 7, 2023, the number of Palestinians who have been martyred as a result of Israeli brutality in Gaza has exceeded 43 thousand, while more than 100,000 have been injured.
