ISLAMABAD: Former President and Co-chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari has expressed concern over consecutive terrorist attacks across Balochistan.
Denouncing the recent Quetta blast, Asif Zardari said the spilling of innocent blood is highly condemnable.
“Killing of the innocent and sinless is savagery. Unfortunately, the government’s entire attention is on political revenge whereas it is state’s responsibility to prioritize safety of its citizens”, he said.
It is to be noted that two incidents of terrorism have taken place within the last three days.
On May 12 (Sunday), three terrorists attacked a five-star hotel in Gwadar who were later naturalised by the armed forces at the cost of five lives. Four hotel officials and one Army official embraced martyrdom in the attack.
On May 13 (Monday), an explosion ripped through a market in Quetta’s Satellite Town, taking four lives and injuring nine others.
