Utility Stores have recorded a record increased in sales of subsidized items, Compared to previous years, utility stores had a record sale in 2022,2023, the sale of utility stores in 2022,2023 was a record 137 billion rupees.
According to sources the sale of utility stores with the subsidy used was Rs. 151 billion, officials of utility stores say that sales have reached the highest level due to government subsidy on basic commodities, Government is giving heavy subsidy on flour, sugar, ghee, oil pulses etc.
The net profit of utility stores last financial year was 760 million rupees, utility stores Corporation has been in profit for the last 3 consecutive years, in the financial year 2021 ,2022 utility stores sales was 112 billion while in the year 2020,2021 utility stores sale was 120 billion and in the year 2019,2020 the sale was 53 billion
