Recounting Continues in NA-249 on Second Consecutive Day

KARACHI: Today is the second day of recount of votes in the by-election in NA-249 constituency of Karachi.


According to details, today is the second day of recount of votes in NA-II constituency of Karachi. 

The recount of votes is underway in the office of the Returning Officer. The counting of 60 more polling stations will be done today. 

The counting of 60 polling stations was completed on the first day. 

Out of 30 candidates, only 16 are in the process of recount. PML-N, PSP, PTI, MQM and two independent candidates boycotted the counting process.

The Election Commission says that despite the boycott of the candidates, the counting process will be completed
