Sialkot: Visiting Sialkot garrison on Wednesday (today), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Syed Asim Muneer has said that no one will be allowed to disgrace martyrs and their monuments.
The Army Chief addressing at the occasion said that martyrs are ornament of our foreheads and no one will be allowed to sacrilege martyrs and their monuments adding that all the responsible in insulting the nation, May 9 mayhem, the black day, will be brought to justice.
The COAS said “martyrs are promised(by the God Almighty) to be given high ranks in the hereafter. The martyrs great ranks will always be remained the hearts of in the people of Pakistan.
He said that the state of Pakistan and armed forces always keep martyrs and their family members first and see their great sacrifices as highly respectable and honourable on constant basis.

Gen Syed Asim Muneer said that martyrs of armed forces are matter of courage and pride for law enforcement agencies, government servants and for people of Pakistan.
He stressed that the recurrence of the recent tragic events occurred with organized planning will not be allowed at all cost.
They army chief reassured the ranks and files that all those responsible for bringing shame to the nation on Black Day of 9th May would be brought to Justice.
The COAS lauded respective formations hard work, passion, high courage, professional expertness while talking to officers and soldiers, the army chief urged concentrating on professional skillfulness to tackle interior and external challenges including propaganda war-fare.
Upon arrival at Sialkot Garrison, Corps commander Gunjranwala welcomed him.
Later, the COAS laid floral wreath at Martyrs’ Monument and paid rich tribute to the Shuhada who sacrificed their lives for the pride, honor and dignity of the nation.
