KARACHI: The Sindh education department has stopped the registration of 54 private school for not providing free education to the deserved children.
The Department of School Education Sindh stopped the registration of 54 private schools for not providing free education to 10% of deserving children. The Department of School Education Sindh on the issue of giving 10% freeship in private schools in the province during the inspection of more than 1000 private schools, during which the registration of 54 private schools was stopped.
The Sindh Education Department has said that these private schools were not giving 10% freeship on enrollment as per the law, as per the law every private school has to give free education to 10% of the total admission deserving students. According to the Sindh Education Department, registration will not be issued to schools until the implementation of the Freeship Law.
