Lahore: Harmful smog could not be brought under control in Punjab as reign of polluted smog retained in Lahore.
Lahore still on top in the most polluted cities of world while city’s air quality index climbed to 688.
Owing to the smog all the historical places have shut down while the department of transport has increased fines on the smoke emitting vehicles.
Punjab government has decided installing air purifiers in all the district to control over the smog.
Director General( DG) Environment Imran Hamid Sheikh has issued a notification in this regard.
As per the notification all the shopping malls have been directed to install air purifier whereas all the commercial plazas will also be installed air purifiers.
It has been directed that the numbers of air purifiers be sufficient and pertinent.
